Students from three Cornish schools today supported the Royal Cornwall Museum's (in partnership with English Heritage) new initiative to develop an exciting interactive learning experience today in Truro.

The Shire of Silfren Mere (in the Kindom of Northshield) and the Shire of Heraldshill are sponsoring a weekend of War. And no better weekend than Memorial Day weekend (May 26-29)! I'm sure many of you will be wanting to get some "practice" camping in before Lilies, or just jonesing for more after Gulf Wars...so what a more perfect opportunity than to join our Northern brethern in a weekend of inter-Kingdom fun.

A treasure trove of Germanic weapons dating to the 2nd century C.E. have been discovered near the Bohemian town of Chomutov. The 22 rusty iron shield handles and sword tips were discovered by a hiker who found them "uncovered in a quiet grove."
