The readeption of previously deposed King Henry VI of England occurred on October 3, 1470. The mentally ill king had to be led by the hand during the celebratory parade.

Equestrian Boot Camp

The Shire of Stormsport is proud to announce that it will be hosting an Equestrian Boot Camp on Saturday, November 18th from 11 AM until we "boot" people (and horses) out.

This somewhat stripped down version of last year's Horses, Hawks and Hounds will be focused on three things: Training/authorizing groundsmen, getting riders authorized and getting Marshals-in-Training trained. It is our sincerest hope that we have candidates for all three Location:

"If one thinks that the English are genetically different from the Scots, Irish and Welsh, that's entirely wrong," said Professor Bryan Sykes, a human geneticist at Oxford University.

A 3rd century Roman villa has been discovered in the ancient city of Laodiceia near Denizli, Turkey. Archaeologists believe the home, which contains mosaic floors, may have belonged to a rich farmer.
