New exhibit on the art of Prague and Bohemia at the Met

"Prague, The Crown of Bohemia, 1347-1437" will be on display at the Metropolitan Museum of Art through January 3.

Exhibit on sculpture of 15th century Florence on display at the National Gallery

"Monumental Sculpture from Renaissance Florence: Ghiberti, Nanni di Banco, and Verrochio at Orsanmichele" will be on display at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC, through December 31.

Feast Upon the Day of Saint Hedwig VII

Come join with the populace of the Shire of Herons Reach in celebrating yet another year's moss harvest. Though the summer drought has slowed the amount of harvest, the quality is superb. Saturday, October 22nd, a potluck feast will be held to commemorate the Day of St. Hedwig, the patron saint of moss gatherers.

Silent Auction Caps Off Successful Baronial Championship

The Barony of Brendoken, located in northeastern Ohio, collected over $900 at a recent silent auction to benefit those affected by Hurricane Katrina. Money from the auction, held in conjunction with baronial championships, will be donated to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief fund. Two photo albums from the event are now online.
