The men and women of the Shire of Baerenau are desperately seeking for help! A tremendous and unbelievable tragedy we are facing. On a hot summer night with a clear star sprinkled sky an enemy so sly and impudent came over us and stole the holiest relict we have, the shrine of the horseradish. These dirty thieves poisoned our guards and keepers of the shrine and took away what never should leave the Shire. Our spirit, the source our lives and the root of Baerenau. All we had left was a trace of Knockebrot crumps to the Northwest! By all we know this could be a false trace, nevertheless we are now on a quest. Leaving our beloved lands with our best trackers we go to war. On the way we seek for friends who will join us to meet on the second day of September on a field close to a little village at Lubeck-Kucknitz. There we will collect our powers to then strike these faceless and cowardly rogues!

The Barony of Stonemarche invites you for a day of picnicking and play! Come join us for a secluded lakeside potluck picnic. With charcoal grills available on site and covered pavilions to shelter the fair from the sun, we will make merry and play! Fighting and fencing may occur, depending upon available marshals. There are many trails to enjoy a quiet walk through the wood and swimming is allowed (no lifeguards on duty, swim at your own risk). Paddleboats and canoes are available from the park for a small fee.

Where can you go to spin or weave all day, fight until you're ready to drop, see Celtic Music performances live, for free and eat haggis and potato pancakes? There's only one place, the Shire of Eisental invites all to join us for our two day demo, September 24th and 25th, at the Celtic Classic Festival in Bethlehem, PA. While the focus is Celtic all personas are welcome.

If they had had transporter beams and warp drives in the Middle Ages, they would have used them. And James Doohan would have been the Scotsman who squeezed 'em for every last drop of performance and then some. The man they called "Scotty" has left us today.

"Shiver me timbers and shiver my soul. There are men whose hearts are as black as coal. And they sail their ships 'cross the ocean blue; A blood thirsty captain and a cutthroat crew. It's as dark a tale as ever told of the lust For treasure and love of gold."
