Michelangelo completed the dome of St. Peter's Church in Rome, Galileo Galilei was born near Pisa, the municipal palace of Genoa was built, and Francesco de' Medici became Duke of Florence. It is truly a time to rejoice and celebrate even here in the Citadel of the Southern Pass as we invite all to Citadel's 12th night - The Italian Renaissance.
